One of the most requested features from both sides of the Remse platform finally shipped this month: you can now share files directly inside a conversation with your agent or client, without leaving the app or digging through an email thread.
What changed
- Attach files in chat — PDFs, images, and scanned documents up to 10MB can now be sent directly in any active conversation
- Inline previews — no more downloading a file just to check it's the right one; images and PDFs preview right in the message thread
- Milestone linking — files shared in chat can be attached directly to a milestone as supporting evidence
- Automatic organization — every file shared in a conversation is saved to that task's document tab, so nothing gets lost in scroll history
Why this mattered
Relocation work is document-heavy by nature — passport scans, proof of address, signed leases, admission letters. Before this update, most of that ended up scattered across email, WhatsApp, and screenshots, which made it painfully easy for something important to get buried. Keeping documents attached to the actual conversation and milestone they belong to means both sides always know exactly where things stand.
When your agent asks for a document, attach it directly in the chat rather than emailing it separately — it'll automatically be available when they submit that milestone for your review.
What's next
This update lays the groundwork for a few things we're building next: e-signatures directly in chat, and a shared document checklist both sides can tick off together. As always, feedback shapes what we build next — reach out through Contact if there's something you wish the app did differently.
